Berryhill seeks GOP nod for Congress

Tallahassee resident Dianne Berryhill, a Republican, intends to run for the Second District Congressional Seat.

She is well known in Leon County for political activism in both Republican and non-partisan conservative political, as well as the Marco Rubio campaign for U.S. Senate. Berryhill also has promoted constitutional education in schools and through community lecture series.

“Congressman Boyd has turned his back on the voters of the second district.  It is time for the career politicians to be retired by the people and for the governance to be returned to the people,” she said. “As Congressman Boyd so often reminds us, his voting card belongs to us.  I am the one of us that wants to claim that voting card for the people.  My voice in DC will be reflective of the voices of the people, not of the special interest groups.”

Berryhill will be unveiling and signing copies of her “Contract with the People” at future events throughout District 2. She said she welcomes all conservatives to join her “Campaign for the People.”
