The Carrabelle Branch of the Franklin County Public Library will host the Atlantic Coast Theatre for the Youth's production "The Notorious Jumping Frog of Calaveras County" on Saturday, Jan. 19, at 2:30 p.m. Based on Mark Twain's first successful short story, the Jumping Frog is a foot-stomping Gold Rush Musical along with Folk-Art Puppetry, each complementing this terrific show. So bring the whole family and enjoy this delightful production in Carrabelle.
The Eastpoint library and the Carrabelle branch will be closed Monday, Jan. 21, and Tuesday, Jan. 22, in observance of the Martin Luther King Holiday.
Preschool to grade three are invited to celebrate the Chinese New Year Thursday, Feb. 7, 4 p.m. at the Eastpoint Library. There will be lots of stories, games, and Chinese New Years activities. The highlight of the event is the Lion/Dragon Parade that each participant is invited to join. Come celebrate the year of the Rat.
