Last weekend’s Mardi Gras celebration was a big hit, beginning with the golf cart and pet parade Friday afternoon in downtown Apalachicola, led by Grand Marshall Michael Allen, from Oyster Radio. On Saturday night, the Armory was the site of  the Mardi Gras Revue, featuring the Dirty Tee Shirt Band, Pam Nobles Dancers, crooner Smokey Parrish, food by Tamara’s Café and lots more, all to raise money for Habitat for Humanity, which is now working on its fifth home in the county.
