The First Baptist Christian School, Franklin County School and Apalachicola Bay Charter School will all be hosting programs honoring Veterans Day this Monday, Nov. 11.
First Baptist Christian School will celebrate the service and honor the sacrifice of American veterans, with a program that includes posting of the colors, a special presentation of the Statler Brothers’ song “More Than a Name on A Wall,” and a tribute to our country’s Wounded Warriors.
The program will begin at 9 a.m. in the sanctuary of the First Baptist Church, 46 9th Street, in Apalachicola. It is open to the public and all veterans and their families are welcome. For more information, please call 653-0950.
The Franklin County School and Apalachicola Bay Charter School are combining for a joint program, and cordially invite all veterans to a Veterans Day celebration at the Franklin County School in Eastpoint. There will be a breakfast for all veterans at 9 a.m. in the media center. The Veterans Day program will begin at 10 a.m. in the gymnasium.
